What is Friday Social Dance? 

Social Ballroom dancing is an "applied dancing". After you learn something in dance class you need to go ahead and use it, so that you do not loose it. Social dancing is a perfect oppurtunity to do it. When going social dancing, you can meet many new people who also like dancing and can become your friends. If you are lucky, you can even find a special person. That is why we encourage all dancers, especially beginners, to attend our Social Ballroom dance parties.

What kind of dance floor you have?

At DanceSport Club we have the largest and best dance floor in town. Our actual danceable floor size is 80x50 ft. That is plenty of space for everyone! Our dance floor is also a traditional floating hardwood floor. Therefore even after dancing for a long time your feet would not hurt.

What kind of music do you play for your Social Dances?

We play a mix of classical Ballroom (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, V. Waltz and Quickstep) and Latin (ChaCha, Rumba, Samba, Jive, Swing) music and modern European music (DJ ICE, Maksy, Mitya etc) that you are sure do find at dance competitions in the United States and abroad. We offer our guests a play list so that they know which dances are coming up and can plan accordingly.

DanceSport Club's Friday Social Ballroom Dance is a great practice time for any dancers that want to have good time dancing. For your convenience we have snack and beverage vending machines.
