In this beginner ballet dance class our young dancers learn basics of Ballet, positions and movement. Class is ongoing, register and join any time. Once paid online we will add your child's name to the roster. You can also register in-person at the studio.

This introductory class is for students new to Folklórico. Class is for both boys and girls. Children are taught the basics of etiquette, body awareness, alignment, and posture. Students are taught the fundamentals of basic dance techniques, along with basic Folklórico footwork that serve as a foundation for advancement into other classes.

This Folklorico Moderno dance class combines traditional Folklorico dances and steps with modern dance techniques, music and elements from other dance styles. Adding elements from Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Ballroom dances enhances traditional Hispanic dances making them even more beautiful and colorful.

Dress code for Boys: black slacks, white long sleeve dress shirt and black dance shoes or soft dress shoes. No tennis shoes, no jeans, no T-shirts

Dress code for Girls: red long sleeve leotard, red 1.5 circle (540 degree) skirt, black ballet dance shoes. Whole package can be purchased at our dance store (International Dance Design) for $65+tax. Flesh colored tights are optional.

This DanceSport dance class is for children that want to learn more Latin and Ballroom dance. This class is suitable for young kids who have not had much dance experience before. In this dance class children learn basics of movement, coordination and balance using fun steps taken from modern, hip hop, ballet and other forms of dance. We also work extensively on balance and musicality which will become more important in the future when your child starts learning formal Latin and Ballroom dance. This a very fun and energetic class.

This class is for children that have had some dance training. Regardless of the style of dance training (Ballroom, Latin, Ballet, Modern or other) it is a requirement for this class. This is a class for children that want to dance at competitions and are willing to commit to training to achieve their dance goals. If your child is new to dance, we recommend starting with Child DanceSport class and then progressing to DanceSport for Competitions.
